I just had Bilstein 6112s put on. New UCAs. It seems like one side is higher than the other. Both sides are on the clip setting for 2.5 of lift. Any ideas?

Put a 1/4 top hat spacer on top of the driverside. You can get them though headstrong offroad.

Is this a common problem that you've seen?

It is not an issue with the 6112's it is a common problem with Tacomas in general. It is called taco lean.

might not even need the spacer. Headstrong recommends setting one of the shocks at 6 and one at 5 to gain maximum lift and balance out the lean.

Mine looks super noticeable. Especially if you look at the wheel wells in general.

It had the same difference stock.

Your new set up didn't affect that, you're just looking at the truck more critically.

Give it a couple months for the 'new' to wear off and you won't even notice it. :D

Same here. I’m looking to buy 6112’s soon but I read somewhere that the new ones have 10 notches. I could be wrong. If so I wonder if the 10 setting on driver and the 8 setting on passenger would eliminate or at least reduce noticeable taco lean.

I currently have 5100s and 885 coils and a 3/8” taco lean spacer. These are my current hub-to-fender measurements:

    LF. 22 1/8
    RF. 22 1/4

Hoping to get closer to 23” hub to fender measurements with the 6112’s

I usually do one clip up on the left side with Bilstien adjustables.

Yeah but I assume that the new style having more clips most likely have less height difference per clip. 1 clip may not make enough difference. I could be wrong. Just my assumption.

Any more and you'd have too much spring difference, ideally the 1/4" shims, but we don't always have the luxury of forsight.

I haven't done a 6112 in a year or so, but the last 2 worked out nicely with one clip.

Headstrong offroad recommends a 2 clip difference on the new model with more clips.

Have 6112. One side is on clip 3, other is on clip 4. I also have a 1/4” spacer as well on the drivers side. And it’s almost even…almost.
    Just taco things

So sounds like a 2 clip difference in the newer design 6112’s (1 clip difference on the older design) makes sense. And get a 1/4” spacer just in case.

I’m sure you’ll be fine just with the clip difference
