They are, I tried to match the wheels but they are a little off. Going to powder coat the wheel black and the “beadlock ring” the bronze on the sliders

I believe '21 and up you don't need to pay for the remote start to still work. My free trial ended in July and my truck still starts with the fob. I can no longer use my phone, but that never worked right anyway.
The dealership told me it wouldn't work after the first year, even though somewhere Toyota's own press release stated otherwise.

While you have connected services you can also remote start it from the app. And that will work from further away. Glad the other poster put in the video using the fob to see the timing and number of presses.

Some don’t want to pay for the connected services so I’m glad it also works with the fob. Having remote services saves me $12 a month on my insurance for now so I’ll pay for it.

    Try this:https://dongar.tech/products/12pin-tacoma
It’s on my Christmas list. I wish there was a similar handy device for a rear cam. The mirror plug-in of course only works when the car is on.

This makes sense. The fob communicates with RF directly to the car but connected services uses the cellular network. Obviously it costs something to use the cellular network (AT&T in the US) so that can be turned off if you choose not to continue but the fob works the same. Just lots of confusion on this.

WooHoo! Glad you got it. Too bad for me, I bought an aftermarket Remote Starter. Lol. Sounds like Toyota decided to allow everyone to use their remote start feature without subscription. :notsure: Scammed again.

HA! I've actually been using those exact ones. Just looking for a more clean/factory look. I've ordered the light assembly over the wireless charger from Toyota, about $14. Plan on installing it somewhere in the glove box and connecting it to the same circuit. ...thats the plan anyway.

Getting caught up. Switched out the OEM front mats with WeatherTech, added .25 horsepower with a TRD oil cap, installed the MattGecko LED under hood kit, found the courage to drill into the hood and install the Redline Tuning hood struts, laid down the Rok Block tailgate cap, and added some motivation just in time for the Marine Corps Birthday.IMG_0092.jpgIMG_0093.jpgIMG_0094.jpgIMG_0095.jpgIMG_0097.jpg
