3rd Gen Transmission & T-case

What is the transmission family model code for a 2016 Tacoma 2.7 4x4 5-speed manual transmission? From what I found, the only code appears is RC62F which is a 6-speed transmission for the 3.5 v6 4x4 still in production.

In addition, what is the transfer case code for 2.7 with manual transmission.

Note: This is for my build plan list. A frankenstein dream build of Toyota powertrain/drivetrain and Wrangler axle. All will be sit on a home build tube chassis. If you ask why go with a 4 cylinder, it's because of weight saving and long range off road. I'm aiming for less than 90 inches, 2000-3000 lbs and will run on 33' so I don't need big v8 power. ETC of the project is unknown.

Sounds like an ambitious build you have planned, best to buy a complete wrecked truck so you get all the magic electronic bits and wiring to make it run. Somewhat of a unicorn to find, the 4 cylinder 5 speed was only available 2016-7.

 

The transmission is an R156F. The transfer case is a VF2CM. The R series transmission and VF series case have been in use for decades.
