    What’s crackin’ hometowns?

I’m looking for a shop to install a truetrac in the rear diff.

I live in Topanga and would prefer the San Fernando Valley (up to Ventura) area.

    Any help greatly appreciated.

Try Hoopers in Sun Valley. Those guys have been around forever and know what they’re doing. I’ve used them for my brothers mustang and every time I’m at the shop I see broncos, jeeps, FJs and T4Rs in there. Id trust them to work on my truck.

Awesome lead hometown, thank you very much. I’ll give them a call as I’ve decided it’s a bit much for me as a first timer, even though I spend a lot of time like yourself working on things for others. I do custom work on 2 stroke motors for competition and am behind a lathe and mill and porting bits quite a bit. But after watching some vids and threads, I’m going to pass.

Thank you and will keep you in mind.

I have no problem farming stuff out when it’s above my comfort level. It’s always good to know what resources are out there.

Anyone interested in doing a meet up to get some birria tacos at Birria La Vaquita in Chatsworth? They have other good items besides tacos, too. So far, I’ve tried their birria burrito, birria quesadillas, birria ramen, and birria fries. Their consumé is a must have. 1E5710AA-7A41-481A-812B-8C89086DD2D3.jpg E211C38B-F4F9-4BC7-A74C-A376CC19A9CA.jpg 48060872-50E0-49AC-BD4C-BDEE2285064B.jpg 657F424E-1BD3-4FB1-B9EC-A85F702BBB70.jpg

I have driven and biked past that truck and wanted to try it out. When were you thinking?

Lol I’m down to meet up.
I was thinking of meeting when it’s not so hot outside. They did start putting up a canopy, so that helps. We can set up some camping chairs and use our own canopies or awnings (if your rig is equipped with one). Or, just stand in the sun like men. Hahaha… actually, I gotta stay away from it to avoid skin cancer or flare ups with eczema.

I believe they’re there with their truck/trailer Tue to Sat, 11am to 6pm (or until they run out of meats). I don’t think they’re there on Sundays or Mondays. The Tacoma driver in me is wanting to meet up on a Tuesday. Next Tuesday, I’m likely not available to go there until after 4:30pm. You guys down to meet there at 5pm next Tuesday? If they aren’t there, we can go to Sharky’s as a Plan B in the plaza they park next to. San Carlo Italian Deli is also dope and just down the street as an alternative.

I hear ya on the skin cancer. With my transplant medications, i have to get a skin checkup twice a year.

So this past Tuesday would have been the night. I missed the last post so I will have to see another time.
