Posted some pics of the 5# propane tank bracket I made earlier this year and had enough interest to make a small batch of them to offer to the TW community. 11 ga steel, powder coated black, includes Tacoma rail mounting hardware and strap. Introductory price of $99 and available on my site 63ind.com.

    Thanks for checking it out!

That's bitchin! Since I run a tonneau all the time, I'm brainstorming how I make this work. My travel trailer is only set up with 1 tank on the "A" frame and having a second would be nice for my longer travels. I could possibly rig this to work with all the bed molle panels I have on sides as well as front. #scratchinmynoggin

I made some plates to lower it in the bed but haven’t made them for sale yet (like the ones holding my shovel in the front of the bed). You should be able to mount it via the slots to your molle panels tho, either with a backing plate or fender washers.

I do want to make sure you see that this is for the little tanks—haven’t made them yet for the larger ones like you probably have on your trailer. Having said that, the small tank runs my stove and propane fire pit nicely while camping!

Thanks for pointing out the size factor! It's very deceiving. My trailer uses what I consider to be "small" tanks which are the 20 lb tank. All my other RV's always had the taller units but I see now that yours is that cute little 5'r. I got all excited!!

@ridefastflyfar Just saw this and ordered one. Going on a trip for 10days through southern Utah. So, it will make life easier than trying to random ratchet strap it down.

Any idea when you might be listing the drop down for these bad boys? This is exactly what I’m looking for but I need the tank to fit under my tonneau, thanks!!!

OK, tested and had others provide feedback this week--modifying the designs slightly and getting some new parts. I expect to have them available in about 2 weeks. Also works to mount Rotopax down low...

Very similar, yes. I made it so rotopax and maxtrax mount directly, which is nicer than the originals in the pic above.

Extension brackets are done and ready!

I'm also finalizing the Maxtrax adapter to allow us short bed guys to have them across the front of the bed and below the rail.

Short brackets work above the cubby/power outlet, and the longs work either front or side, depending on where you want to mount things.

Tested under a tonneau cover, over a DECKED system, and looks good w/ my Leitner ACS too!

Wow, these are sweet. I hand made a crappy version using some scrap aluminum i picked up, but this is way better. Only question is I have rough country bed molle panels. They have lots of holes, but any idea if they will line up with your mount? If not I can always drill some extra if the spacing is right. Thanks

Also any plans for a 5 or 10 lb CO2 holder for those of us with power tanks or DIY powertanks? Currently I just strap to the molle panels, but a real mount would be nice.

The slots in mine are 2" on center, sized for either a 5/16" or 8mm bolt. Does that match up with any of the holes in your panels?
