It’s been 11 months since I drove it… 2-3 more weeks

 

I'd guess this is well beyond the skill level of many of us. I can confirm it is something I will never attempt.

There is a lot of off-road racing knowledge at these fabrication shops and the skill to make parts from scratch. This design will help keep dust out of the air filter.

Nice. Being a HAM myself, I'd like to know specifically what you are doing for an antenna. Myself, I only do HF, so I wouldn't be installing anything in the truck, but I too would be interested in seeing your setup!

 

It is an old but trusty larson I've had for years. I have a 5100 too but the screen faded from the heat when I put it in my old car years ago so now it sits on my desk for fear it will fade further if it gets hotter.
