I don’t know because the Tacoma has high enough sales that they can get away with having at least three cab and bed configurations. Sales volumes for the other trucks are so low that they have to pick what’s the most popular.

***But I think they will continue with the same pattern of making certain trims available with only one cab and bed configuration.

I wouldn't be surprised if they did away with the DCLB since it requires a different frame than the other two configurations.

That's a good point. I'm glad Nissan kept the access cab, but last I checked you could not get it in Pro-4x.

I’m surprised people aren’t looking at the new Frontier more carefully now that the Tacoma is essentially impossible to get without waiting for weeks or even months. My local dealers always have a steady supply sitting around unsold and are even offering 1500 dollar rebates on them.

Tacoma is not impossible or difficult to get. And you can get even get $ on the hood as of now.

A lot of those sites are showing vehicles that are in transit and aren’t currently available at the dealership, that may have been already reserved, or the dealerships are asking for ridiculous mark ups.

Someone should tell Dublin and Oakland Toyota who are still selling 2019 and 2020 Tacomas for $10-$15,000 over blue book.

My local dealer has three on their website, but if you go there only one is available.

there are plenty to chose from in the bay area without markup. Always going to be bad apples.

I thought the automakers were cracking down on "market adjustments".

Has the 2024 Taco engine been "officially" selected?

    Absolutely hideous?!?

Hmmm, I snapped these pictures up in Iceland back in August; yeah, this sucker is tarted up to the max, but I rather think the basic truck is reasonably attractive.

I don’t think it’s particularly hideous and I’ll take the shorter front end with less overhang over the Tacoma.

Meanwhile, many of us that actually use our 4x4 truck as an off-road hauling vehicle, want no gadgetry and a manual tranny.

Can i at least get one with disc brakes all around? WTF?

Nice to have the adult in the room back. Excited to see some idea of final design form running around.

Damn sure looks better than the awful tundra front end.
