    Elderly neighbor was at a state park near here and got a little confused and they were trying to get a hold of family. I was able to get a hold of the neighbor and they were able to put them in contact with family.

    Next day the guy shows up at my place all confused. Couldn't find his truck keys and phone. I live in his sisters house which she passed September 2021. He still remembered that, but knew I'd be able to get in contact with somebody. I was able to luckily.

    He's in a home now. I don't feel he was quite ready for that. Had an infection on his foot that was messing his mind up. That and needed a pacemaker. But, the people who are in charge of the estate seemed eager to just throw him in that home and get the land. Greed, all of it I think. I could be wrong, but it just seems that way. They're the same ones who got my house when the lady passed away.

    Yep I just paid $102 for my out of state North Carolina license. Really really hoping to kill something big enough to mount. Last time I hunted up there 2 years ago I caught the sniffles on the way up and still saw big deer sitting on the ground sniffling every 12 seconds.

    The last deer I got was from the lottery system -- I ran it over with an XJ Cherokee, broke the grill and ripped the muffler off in the process.
    :censored::rocket::rant:

    In case you are wondering a deer makes a lot of noise being smashed under the solid front axle of an XJ...:eek:

    The original ones were (low grade) stainless I believe.
    I took the original one off a 98 a few years ago, it had a hole rotted in the bottom but still was strong enough to need a zip wheel to remove it.

    :yawn: just woke up about hour ago. Busy week at work. Madness, originally scheduled to be finished up on the 2nd. I'm guessing a week over that is what it will be. I'm contemplating right now about running a freezer up to my stepfather place in Freemont NE. It's 90 miles one way though. Freezer he give me 10-15 years ago. I bought a new one and ask him if he'd like the old one back...:facepalm:

    The 1860`s farm house I grew up in my bed room window was my Deer Blind.

    Mom and me ate good on those Afalfa and corn feed big Doe`s

    Get the bucket tractor drag them in the bucket the hard part was done.

    Hang them from the bucket clean , skin and quarter.

    For the most they bounce off the vehicle a few times turn around stick out their tongue and run away.

    To attack another day unless it is only the adrenaline spike keeping them moving run a 1/4 mile then fall dead.

    That meat flooded with Adrenaline tastes to bad to eat to me at least.

    Final tally - about 140 individual trick or treaters solo and in small packs.

    How’d others do?
