When we got to Alaska in 2001, Kristi drug me to one of them time share gangster deals to get the complimentary POS gift, I don't remember what that was ... I lasted 15 mins before I told the sales shyster there was NO WAY I was buying into their scheme. My wife got mad told me I was rude, to which I replied, "I don't want to be friends with these rip-off artists." I waited in the car while she got her POS gift. I hate those scammers. Funny, she's never asked me to go to another.

 

Damn I wish we could get Yuengling here. One the young guys in Ramp is from PA and he has his family bring us a case when they visit. And one of the PA Air Guard crews gave us a case last year when they were up for a week. That Yuengling is damn fine beer.

 

I went to one when I was young. I went for the free TV and listened to their act. When we were done, we went to a room where the sales tactics started. I tried not to be rude but this guy had an answer for every reason that I couldn’t sign on. He wanted a check to get me locked in. I told him that I don’t have any checks with me. He offered to buy my watch, I said no. He must have pushed a button or something because someone at another table rang a bell and everyone stood up and applauded the happy couple that just purchased their timeshare. He said, “That could be the two of you making your dreams come true”. I told him that I fulfilled my obligation and took the tour now gimme my TV. He said that they only give 1 TV per day and it was already given out so I could choose between silverware or the China set. I said stick it up your ass and left. You live and learn.

 

I’m sitting in Pottsville, Pa right now where the Yuengling Brewery is located. I’ll swing over and get loaded up when I’m done here at Wally World. I don’t know if I have enough fuel to make it up there but I’ll try.
