Yea... serious kick in the teeth, and honestly the professional version of auto desk is like 500 a year and just as capable (if you don't need to run flow models)

How's it compared to your Adobe licenses? Are they asking for the blood of your firstborn yet?

The "free" hobbiest version of fusion360 is the same functions as the professional with the difference being you can only have 10 active, modifiable drawings at a time. You can have as many drawings as you want but all the extras outside of that 10 must be saved as a read only file. But as a hobbiest it's not too much bother to convert a readonly drawing to an editable one

Pretty sure Fusion360 is what the guys on the welding thread were talking about.

One or two of them run the same plasma cutter I have even, and two use the same software between them.

So it's cool seeing what they're running and doing and bouncing tips off each other.

Looks like I need to venture away from the lunchtable once in awhile, I don't even know where the welding thread is lol

I think the nicest thing about fusion360 is that it can read and save drawing files from each software out there... at least all the ones I've dealt with

Lol, likewise! I haven't turned a gas knob on in at least 4 days. Which may be the longest I have gone in months.

@Abeyancer that last reply was not finished. I started it then started something else like always. Meant to agree with you that fusion must be attainable. Unlike cad which is not really w/out a watermark. The one you use at work must be high tech cause i have never even heard of it.

Honestly not sure, if I need to use Adobe at home I just log on with my work account lol. Been doing that for years. I think the full license is like $600 a year? Maybe more now

This trip was 2+ years overdue. Hiked a 14er and got some decent camping spots in a national forest. That 3rd Gen 4Runner was thankfully a stick but it’s tires were bald and suspension was original at 190K. But it was the best option with my 04 down.

Saved two 2WD Silverados with Florida and Tennessee plates from the ice. It’s bad when a Texan has to teach you how to put weight in the bed.

I have no idea how this 4runner housing was assembled before, the bearing on one side is 1/8" too far towards the inside of the diff. Trying to decide if hammering the axle shaft in is good enough.

I should probably take a needle tip and pump the bearings full of grease before I hammer everything together :luvya:

Not yet. It's like $60/month for full load. I'm at around half that now though (I think) with Pshop/Lightroom/Illustrator. Pshop is really the only reason I stick around now. If Affinity or someone else ever matches or exceeds it, I'm out. More options for vector out there now and Procreate is amazing. I hate subscription models.

Oh lawd ... being your own integrator, can't you spec a job without it? Or is it just that prevalent people don't "trust" anything else?
