    Good morning >50. It has been 5 years 1 November 2017 that I stopped smoking. I know that if I can do it then anyone else can. Your stars will have to align but when you decide to quit you decide to quit. I did it with the patch at 21 Mg down to 14 Mg and finally at 5 Mg. To take the edge off I used one of those nicotine vapes. After a couple of days I tossed the vape the weaned off of the patches.

    This knee replacement Is really kicking my ass !!!! yesterday about 1500hrs my Nurse came by to check on me and change the bandages on my knee .
    She found that I have good sized Hematoma forming on my Quad muscles near the incision

    This is causing me pain during flexion , also I'm experiencing a bad allergic reaction around the suture site from the bandages used from the ER

    And the knee has become very warm indicating that have an infection is forming . My Nurse contacted my Surgeon and talked with his PA . hopefully I'll find out more tomorrow when my Nurse is here for my PT
