I wish I didn't have to but its been sitting for 12 years without work done on it. Now my truck takes all my time and money plus we are moving on the road full time. If I had a bunch of money I would just store it till I could finish it.

I have loved this car since I first found out about them when I was in my early teens when I got into rally racing. It is so much fun to drive but I just can't find the motivation any more. And your right most people don't know why it is so special and parts are getting harder to find now days. There is still a bit of JDM companies making parts but they are also spendy.

Alrighty, a lot done here. What started as a simple drivers side tie rod end turned in to both LCAs, both tie rod ends, inner tie rod boot, passenger CV and seal in the differential. Then to reward myself I built a charging/organization station that mounts to my rear seat and is removable for an upcoming camping trip.

Truck threw po705 code CEL, no turn signals, shifter locked in P, had to push shift lock to get out of P, AC didn’t work. Had a blown 10a fuse and replaced the PNSS (park neutral safety switch) with a $130 OEM one. Truck is fixed. Feels good. Thanks @EatSleepTacos for the advice throughout my diagnostic procedure lol

You pretty much nailed it! I have an 85(ish)AH lithium battery with 100w solar coming from the roof along with a 20A DC to DC charger because it's the smallest reasonable one I could find. This helps power my fridge I keep in the rear along with my new power station in the cab. Everything fits behind the seat and is tucked away nicely so it's out of the way and I can still use the seat if need be. I've been rocking the battery/solar setup for around a year but just recently put in the DC to DC charger to help out. I don't think I'm allowed to self promote by linking my video but I made a short video on how I did it, video is titled "Hidden Battery for a Fridge Install - Tacoma Overland Build on a Budget" on YouTube. That video was prior to the DC/DC Charger but they're so simple I didn't feel like updating with a new one.

If I'm not allowed to even say above I'll edit the post :p
