Ok that makes sense I guess. Thank you.

I’m over a full basement so my plumbing is all super accessible. I’ll ride it like this for a while and if I have an issue I’ll redo it I think.

Do the install instructions not tell you how to install the tub or did I miss something ?

They just say level the feet and put a big bead of silicone. They don’t say “make the feet useless and put them inside the tub frame so it’ll sit flat on the ground” lol

It can’t be that bad, must be a metric level.

No it’s very level, so I could’ve sat the tub down flat on the floor, but followed the directions of leveling the feet. Thought to myself “why would I level the feet of they aren’t touching the floor?” So I made them touch the floor. They’re barely out from under the tub frame.

    Maybe not appropriate here.
I keep some of the cheap peel and place floor tiles around for shims. They cut easily with scissors, have an adhesive on them, you can nail or screw through them and they don't rot. They make a handy shim for all kinds of little jobs - and cheap too!

Can you fit a vinyl tube underneath? I'm thinking a makeshift caulking gun extension to put silicone under the cross bars where you won't see it from the perimeter.

I put a straight board across the bottom of the tub, when it was tilted on its side. Checked all the feet compared to the board to get them kinda close to each other. Then stood the tub up, checked it’s level, leaned it over on its side, adjusted the necessary foot, then set it back up nice and level. Just a bit off the floor.

I'm still confused why you want to have the feet below the bottom of the tub...
