I've used them for my quad and SxS 6x6 thru Winter storage for years...plug 'em and forget 'em. Never an issue. Heck, last Winter my 6x6 stayed tarped beside my shed outside thru lots of sub zero single digit temps. When I pulled the tarp off in May, it cranked right over. I Stabil the fuel for Winter storage.

 

Think dis is da one .. be wired in so I can just plug straight in and leave hooked up

 

Way, way, way to expensive for my taste.
And
You install it and you can’t use it on anything else. So, you have to buy a nutter un

Well, I clip on and forget. Plus, I look around the bay and check for issues. Plus, since there is no charger in the boat, it’s lighter meaning, it’s faster. Plus, the charger isn’t in a wet environment all the time. My friend has lost two chargers.They we’re installed in the boat.
I could have put a trolling motor end on my charger and just plugged in but…..

Now that I’ve razzed the hell out of you, it’s your boat. Do EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT and, enjoy the fuck out of it..
