Absolutely love the colour. Congratulations on the new truck

 

Holy damn, is it bright! Love it!!!

 

The camera has a hard time picking up exactly how f’n orange this is. Also the metal flakes aren’t really visible till the sun comes out, then it looks like a fishing lure. Almost like a pearl

 

From the pic itself, it is straight RED color, just brighter. Looks really good though.

 

That’s what keeps coming through with the iPhone. In real life it’s super orange like a pumpkin.

 

what made you order one on both sides of the border?

 

I'm curious how it looks next to inferno. Pictures don't do solar octane justice, I think it's a couple shades brighter, but it's impossible to tell without seeing them side by side.

 

Solar Octane has flakes? I thought it was flat. Just goes to show how bad the info on the internet can be.

That can be changed in post processing of the pic, especially if the source is ProRAW. But most people don’t know how to do that.

 

I live on Marco Island 6 months a year and figure I'll take the first one that comes and let someone else buy the second.

Wow, thats beautiful. From pictures alone, it looks identical to inferno, add tons of flake - which I absolutely love.

 

Looks better than I thought it would.
Especially against that natural background.

 

Pretty sure it is a pearl…hence the $425 charge for premium paint that the windchill pearl also has

 

What's strange is if you build it on Toyota, there's no up charge but on the build sheet its listed as a factory option... anyone get it knocked off?

 

I think it depends on the region. I could be wrong.

 

Well sorta. I live in BC but work in the US, so mine is bought in the US. But it will be in BC most of the time.

 

Well, I don't think it's regional. My area doesn't show the paint having added cost, but dealerships in the region do have it listed. Might just be Toyota getting lazy on their website, or if you're more cynical, they aren't showing it so the truck looks just a hair less expensive than it really is.
