Yes I know that. I traded in a 2019 F150 crew cab Lariat. AWESOME TRUCK but it would not fit in my garage and all my vehicles must go in the garage. I’m anal about my vehicles.

A few, mainly added skids. I like leaving the suspension alone. I drive forest service dirt roafs in the desert west extremely extremely too fast. Toyota nailed this suspension going 65 across desert terrain. Changing it is dumb unless you have a specific need like crawling or mud.

your U joints must love you.

the wind resistance created from having the windows open negates any savings from not running the AC.

Ugggg. Did a 70 miles trip the other day, “rush hour”. About 72 mph on the highway. Fairly substantial grade up and and down. Dropped into fourth on the way up to avoid a Prius passing me and gouging my ego. Lousy 15.9 mpg according to the computer. I have a 2” ish lift and e rated ko2s. I was really hoping to get some better mpg as this might be my new 5 day path…

I did this a few days ago behind a grey hound bus. 70 mph for about 45 miles and got 31.7 mpg. In my 2.7. Used to hear about drafting but never thought much about it. You really feel it in a under powered brick. Seems calmer and quieter behind the bus than a truck trailer. Told the wife I’m gonna use the bus schedule to plan our next road trip.

Normally the truck says I get low 20s on average with the random 21mpg average, but today I was driving to work and it jumped to over 30mpg at a stop light, then started to go back down as I started to drive again. No idea what the heck caused that but it was weird.

Because Im neurotic I keep a spreadsheet of my monthly spending, fuel spending included, and in that spreadsheet I calc MPG. Between 1400 miles logged and 6 stops at the gas pump it says Im getting 20.19 mpg, which is pretty closed to what the truck says I get so I feel confident its close enough for a quick glance.

Old Man Emu lift, TRD PRO rims with BFG All-Terrains, ARB Front Bumper with Warn Winch, Baja Designs LP6 lights and S2 Pro spots, TRD Intake, Prinsu Roof Rack, ARE Topper with Yakima Crossbars, lots more to come.
Daily driving, 45 mph max street roads, no crazy accelerating or passing has me getting 14 mpg. 6cyl, 4x4, lifted with 285/75/17s and some weight added with mods and a full truck bed. Trying to get at least get 300 miles per fill up. Best I've gotten so far is 283 miles according to the stock computer but that may be reading wrong. Not a Prius lol

Tank avg is about 19 and trip avg is about 23. It spends some time at idle between remote starting and spending my break times in it at work.
I’m running 285/75/16s so I’m cool with it.
My 4.0 definitely had bigger balls but less mpg.
