Any suggestions? Looking for the easiest to install. Not looking for budget.

You would need a conversion harness if converting to OEM LED

OE LED headlights. You would need a harness as mentioned above but its relatively cheap. This is the route I will go in the future.

The question is always what problem are you trying to solve? IE what conditions make your lights seem inadequate?

There are many legit auxiliary lighting options that are very useful in rural and off road settings.

My OEM non-led work just fine... Do you have tint on the windshield?

You still didn’t really answer the question “what makes them seem inadequate?”.
“Commute” makes me think urban, with lots of other traffic. If that’s the case and you want to stay legal, upgrade your bulbs to h9s as outlined in the sticked lighting thread. It costs less that $20 and a minute or two trimming tabs on the bulbs.
If you still aren’t happy with the output, then OEM LED is the best performance you can get while not blinding your fellow commuters

They just don’t seem very bright in comparison to my other trucks I’ve had. Are the morimotos XB or alpha Rex considered not legal?

They are legal, but their performance is sub-par. It’s all in the post eurowner was kind enough to link. If you’re going to shell out the clams for those you may as well pay a little more and get better performance from the Toyotas.
Honestly you have nothing to lose putting h9s in. It’s a significant upgrade

I did the h9 deal. Simply clipped out the sort tab with some flush cut diagonals in stuck ‘‘em in. Prefer them to the led in our gmc. To my eyes whiteness of the led seem reflect a lot off near field objects and give me fatigue from squinting. Those led halogen replacement bulbs suck ass. If you plan to “upgrade” with led, expect to pay.

    Alpharex are total dogshit.

I was gonna go OEM LEDs myself, even bought the harness ahead of time from a fellow TW member before I was going to buy the headlights.

But last minute I decided to buy some morimoto xb Gen 2s instead from another local tw member. Never looked back. Love them. 100% plug and play, easy to install fuse tap (optional).
