    It's less Tacoma and more mod
    Old cars used to have a thing called the Continental package where they get a spare tire on the bumper behind the trunk and the bumper would get some stupid long extensions and filler plates. It was "luxury"

    Absolutely. The weather makes a huge difference!
    Plus, most people here usually buy vehicles for the long term. Not to trade in in 4 or 5 years.
    The price of new vehicles has always been higher here. Same with second hand vehicles, because the climate doesn't destroy them.

    I was watching a show on Costa Rica today. I could do that for sure. The vehicles I see coming out of that area and imported in the US go for a premium.
