You'd need a O2 simulator, to get rid of those codes.

I don’t think there are inspections down those parts, could be wrong though. I’ve seen the amount of shitboxes on the road with an inspection sticker I’d be surprised if some long tube headers is where they drew the line

I did use 02 simulator from URD but they said simulator prevent code P0420/P0430 can illuminate the engine light.
I don't have that code, even right now I didn't use simulator and my engine light doesn't turn on.
When I plug in my OBD scanner and read the code, I got this code P0102,P0113,P2433 and P2438 I call these gosh code because first doesn't make my engine light on and I can't erase or clear it use my OBD scanner.
The main problem at my state inspection my catalyst and 02 sensor monitor incomplete or not ready, that's what make my truck doesn't pass and I'm really confuse and stress has my due will be end this month.

the Monitors test needs several running cycles to become complete. Did you disconnect your battery when you replaced the headers?

I did several running cycles but still the same, only 2 monitor doesn't incomplete.
I believe I didn't disconnect my battery, any difference?

I didn't have any issues with state inspection here in Texas. Running urd spec u headers with the URD o2 sim. I got my inspection not too long after I installed them, a few weeks at most.

    I inspect cars in NC.

If it came from factory with cats, it has to have them to pass.

They will not even tune street cars on dynos unless they have cats.

Just because its a non emissions county doesnt mean you can disable emissions components. I personally dont give a shit but thats the law.

I would not disclose to the inspector you have removed cats. If they miss it and pass it its all good.

The inspector doesn't mention about I remove cats, the only they concern and I didn't pass inspection bc my cats and 02 sensor monitor incomplete.
Even I already reset the ECU and drive it around still the same.

Only way to get cats to set without cats being there is with 2 spark plug non foulers drilled out and put between o2 sensor and bung. SO I HAVE HEARD.

There is a section of the NC inspection after the obd process that is a check list with all of the emissions components that have to be visibly checked to make sure they havent been removed.

If he isnt going to fail you for that aspect thats good for you. Not being a smart ass either.

Remember in NC you can have 1 unset monitor and still pass OBD.

Do you have a MIL? The monitor will not reset with a MIL present.

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
In NC, it also depends on which county you are being inspected (Cumberland, Wake, Guilford, used to use sniffers but this may be dated now). You can only have ONE, NOT READY code for 2002-Present vehicle. The visual inspection mentioned above is without a doubt state wide and required. You can tune out MIL, but not READY codes are different. You won't be able to pass visual when the inspector jacks up the truck and looks underneath for the cats though. Just hope they miss it.

I did put spark plug non foulers on 02 sensor after cats when I use simulator from URD but now I take it away, may be I would try to put it back as I didn'tuse simulator again..... which I put spark plug non foulers before cats or after cats?

After cats. You want to trick computer that the cat has done its job and air is clean.
