    Didn't @Norilsk also spiral his driveshaft on that climb in 2020?

    Anyway, go to a driveline shop and get it rebuilt with thicker wall tubing. 3/16" wall for extra rock crawler points. :)

    It's to bad no one makes a driveshaft skid of some sort. We can send a rover to mars so driveshaft skid should be easy. :)

    Pinion guard + traction bar do a good job of shielding the driveshaft: https://www.tacomaworld.com/posts/6458589

    Monster trucks run driveshaft cages to meet rules, but those are meant to contain driveshaft fractures (from their 1500 hp engines) and can't support the truck's weight.

    Where did you get yours done? I think I paid $500 for a retube last time which I found kinda pricey.
