Yeah, KC has some sweet mounts for the cyclones but unfortunately they don’t work on hoods. The option I went with is sturdy enough and only costs like $15ish.

TRD catback installed. It's got a nice throaty grunt at idle and low rpm, but just driving to the mailbox and back sounds similar to stock. Going to put a few miles on it tomorrow to get a fair assessment. Also, picking up my TRD Pro shift knob from the dealer tomorrow. :drevil:

I understand the used market prices. It is true, used vehicles right now run as much as new these days. One of the reasons I went new with my Tacoma.

Your truck sounds amazing. You’ll have to post pics on here when you are done as well as some from the shows and rides you do.

Fr pass door handle replace, Tyger step rails and soft bed cover, DDSS3 fogs, TRD skid, OR front tow hook, SokieTech hood struts, fr seat covers (neoprene), metal oil filter housing, magnetic oil plug, Cyclone under hood lights, Blue Sea Systems 5025 Fuse Block ST Blade 6 Circuit with Ground and Cover, Blue Sea Systems 60A DC Panel Mount circuit breaker.
When I installed my KC HiLiTES 355 Cyclone LED Universal 2-Light Under Hood Wiring Kit I used
ULIBERMAGNET Anti-Scratch Neodymium Magnet with Rubber Coated and M6 Male Thread off Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0923LLS6N). Got 4 rubber coated magnets (only needed 2) and the M6 threads fit nicely through the donut hole in the KC Lites. (Post 228036, Feb 20, 2022).

Maybe round the edge of the bracket and then use
Rubber Edge Trim Black,U Channel Plastic,Car Door Edge Guards
I use that for metal edges where I'm running wires nearby.

Mine? Mine's still rolling on stock suspension and tires....for now. :drevil: I bought the exhaust from BajaHoncho if that's who you're thinking of.

Solid way to do it also. Only reasons I chose to use what I did were because I had used them before and I liked the pivot function so I can aim them straight down and left and right, rather than pointing at the radiator due to the angle of the hood.

I don't know man... I don't think that masking tape will stand up to the abuse you put bumpers through. I'd try making it out of metal, if I were you.

All I can say THERE IS HOPE. Short interesting story I bought these 16" tires thinking the TRD Sport had 16" stock rims/tires so then OBVS they don't fit my 17" OEM rims and I just say one night that GOD MY WIFE IS MAD I BOUGHT TIRES THAT DON'T FIT THIS TRUCK AND IF SOME 16" RIMS I REALLY WANT APPEAR I'M TRULY GOING TO BUY THEM I SWEAR  and a few days later a guy in Oceanside posted and I WAS LIKE LFG!!!!

Note: This amazing person had them GARAGED for a few years, NEVER MOUNTED and I was like I HAVE TO
