A few, mainly added skids. I like leaving the suspension alone. I drive forest service dirt roafs in the desert west extremely extremely too fast. Toyota nailed this suspension going 65 across desert terrain. Changing it is dumb unless you have a specific need like crawling or mud.
So my 07 Sport was the last vehicle I've bought since my new g3 truck. I fully intend to keep my old G2. Its had basic work. I've upgraded the shocks, wheels, all new cv and working suspension/ braking system. The clutch is great, motor just started burning oil... not a lot, but a 1/4 quart (extra, in total it burns .5q )every 10k. It has almost 300k on it. Do I "hunt this down" or go figure out a better oil, hug her and move on?

I actually tried switching to a more frequent oil change schedule and found the oil is absolutely gorgeous when i change it at 2k but I'm missing .5 of a quart about every 10k!

Clean oil not dripping, no smoke, no smell. Vanishes

That seems totally acceptable. The engine is worn in, rings are worn etc with 300k. My brand newish F-150 uses a quart every 3000 miles.

Half a quart every 10k miles on a 300k engine and no signs of leaks?

Send it, she's good to go!

Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
She’s totalled. Best I can do is $500 for the poor thing.

No but really. Anything under a quart in 5k miles is totally fine for higher mileage. (Owners manual on new trucks states 1 quart every 1000 miles is “acceptable”.) There’s nothing to worry about

Complete frame off resto needed on this one. Break everything down and reassemble.

But seriously, if your coolant isn't showing signs of a head gasket failure, its typical that high mileage engines cook a bit of oil. Piston rings get worn down, seals go bad. As long as your truck is running right with no rattles or vibrations, you'll be good. And replacing a head gasket isn't all that difficult, just time consuming. It'd take you all weekend if you haven't done it before. With that said, the earlier you catch a bad gasket, the less chance for a cracked block. I'm not saying you have a bad head gasket, I'm just merely pointing that out. If you are concerned about a possible leak, get yourself some foaming engine degreaser or mix up a diluted batch of simple green and give your engine and engine bay a good cleaning. Rinse everything off with clear water and drive it around for a few hundred miles. Grease and dirt will start to accumulate near potential leak spots.

oil changes every 2k, thats a bit excessive. Unless you're only doing 2k every 12 months.
