    Yessssss

I suggest you watch it after indulging in too much whiskey. It's so bad, and HILARIOUS.

Trying Buffalo Trace again for the first time in quite a while. Once again, I don't get the hype. I know taste is very subjective but BT just tastes like cheap bourbon, but not the good kinda cheap (like EW BiB).

I wonder what bourbon that you really enjoy is one that the rest of us think tastes like shit :)

Hahaha. No worries. Each to their own. I personally enjoy good cheap whiskey. Or at least what I consider good. But around SC, BT is damn near impossible to find. And if you do, they want way more than SRP. I've decided just to keep it in my bar just in case if friends want to drink it.

SC seems to be a really weird place for bourbon. I’ve been to other unregulated states that don’t have anything close to the insane overpricing going on in your state for popular stuff.

With very little effort I’ve bought BT in NV, MD, and FL for $30. I only ever go to coastal SC, maybe it suffers from tourist syndrome.

Anyway I really enjoy BT, and I’ve tried a shit ton of bourbon. Is it the best one out there? Hell no. But for me it’s the best one at its price point by far. The only other one for a similar price that I enjoy is Larceny. Maybe I’ve become a whiskey snob. I’ve never tried EWBIB because my dad in law often drinks regular EW, so I’ve had it a lot, and it’s not very good. But lots of people say the BIB is good for the price, so maybe I should try it.

There's a big difference as you go from green label>black label>white label. Is BiB the greatest ever? No. But at less than $20 for 750ml, it's hard to beat.

He drinks the black label, I don’t recall ever noticing the green. But a higher proof and age is almost always going to be better, all else being equal. So next time I see it at the bar I’ll give it a go.

EW BIB is a superb pour, the 1.75 can be found for under $30 here in NJ. Always have it on hand. It’s allocated now believe it or not

I gotta try the BiB. Don’t care for the Black label at all, so probably why I’ve never grabbed the White.

As for BT, I’ll ride that hype train til the wheels fall off haha. One of my top 3 under the $30 mark.

Just found another bottle of Springbank 10 at BevMo. I gave up on the local BM as they usually have a small, unremarkable selection. However, the other half needed to go to the fabric store, which just so happens to share a parking lot with BM. Go to fabric store, or look at bottles of scotch and bourbon... what to do, what to do... Bottles it is! Surprisingly they had a Springbank and 3 bottles of Nikka From The Barrel. I grabbed the Springbank, bringing my horde up to 5. This bottle has officially taken the #1 spot away from Oban 14.
