What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Got it washed today. looking good! filled her up with shell. Then came home and fixed my Ipod interface. (plug came loose on interface)
Now Im about to order me a CB Drop kit and maybe a UWS tool Box.

 

spray painted the radiator black and installed the TRD emblem... i trimmed the screw soo it wouldnt stick out too much.

well this was last spring 3 " toytec lift 265,70r17 motometal rims -12 offset need to get a tonneau cover or a nice cap any suggestions?

Changed my rear differential fluid. Used Mobil 1 75w-90LS Synthetic. I was going back and forth about using the Redline 75w-85 which actually is what the owners manual says to use. Eventually decided that the

$28 75w-90 Synthetic Gear Lube - 1 Quart (Pack of 2)

75w-90 was the better way to go. The fluid came out looking pretty good (23K miles) with good color and only a minor amount of grey particles. The magnet had one gear chip and one metal curly-cue (probably from manufacturing). Otherwise there was no other bits beyond the metal/paste that always builds up on the plug. Will do the transfer case and the front diff when it gets warmer out.

Weather warmed up a bit so I stickered my back window. I know stickers are a highly debated item, but I like them! Especially on glass because you can always remove them if taste changes.

took off skids to check a oil leak.....
checked all front end nothing loose.......
took the stockers back off and put the moto's and my 285 back on....

 

working on a "sato" ish grill as we speak
hid should be in next week
got to find a new bumper

I feel ya. lol filled mine up today and it was 60 dollars. i think its 3.27 down here. I try not to look anymore

I WISH I was paying $3.30 a gal. Yesterday, I paid $3.639 for 93oct. It is ethanol free though. It's gonna start to hurt soon. I'm still paying off the lift/tires/bumper/winch.

 

I got 3.26 here today !!

 

if it makes you guys feel any better .... its about $3.80 - $4.00 a gallon in So Cali (Pasadena) =/
