All I can say THERE IS HOPE. Short interesting story I bought these 16" tires thinking the TRD Sport had 16" stock rims/tires so then OBVS they don't fit my 17" OEM rims and I just say one night that GOD MY WIFE IS MAD I BOUGHT TIRES THAT DON'T FIT THIS TRUCK AND IF SOME 16" RIMS I REALLY WANT APPEAR I'M TRULY GOING TO BUY THEM I SWEAR  and a few days later a guy in Oceanside posted and I WAS LIKE LFG!!!!

Note: This amazing person had them GARAGED for a few years, NEVER MOUNTED and I was like I HAVE TO

Wow I have been searching and searching for these wheels. I just don’t want to pay 2k for a set! What did you pay if you don’t mind me asking?

Thanks we appreciate the opportunity! Those bumper steps are nice. AMP makes them and I love having them on all our trucks.

I think I purchased the last set in America at a physical dealership over the phone, 1800 miles away. My wife wasn’t too happy about that either. Good job! You have to jump on those while you can. Worst case scenario, you will always be able to get your money back because those are a hot ticket. I put like 17 coats of sealant and wax on them, and black overlays on the Trd to protect the red. Definitely not driving with them in salt during winter.
Now my wife calls it her truck because it looks good and sounds mean.

LOL. I bought my 4Runner almost 15 years/233k miles ago and the only 'mods' I made were floor mats and a cargo net (I've only made 1 repair in that timeframe also). In one month of owning my Tacoma I've done much more/spent much more and feel shame that I haven't coated the frame or extended the AC drain hose to prevent rust. And I still have a few shiny bits on my mirrors and tail lights. But I'm having a lot of fun and smile whenever anyone asks how I managed to get the truck in Lunar Rock. And I still have 1/2 a can of PlastiDip.

    Oh look, another mod....

You should feel shame. You need to step your mod-game up. If you don't, we're voting your ass off the island!

I'd say just make sure your mirrors are out far enough to eliminate the blind spot. Or buy a stick-on blind spot mirror or a rav4 mirror. I don't think these are worth the $80 imo.

I don't have an exact weight yet, but I would estimate it weighs easily under 300lbs now and that is with the upper walls (hard side fold up walls - see those in Ep:7) and I have 80% of the roof completed. I'm trying to keep the shell weight (everything but the interior build out) under 500lbs. I will likely be upgrading my leaf packs (I have Icon 3 Leaf AAL now) when I'm done to help with the load. I think the 4WheelCampers models for the Tacoma are close to 1K lbs so I'm feeling pretty good. They are a bit larger as well of course though. Thanks for following along.
