    Yeah the ARB is a beast of a bumper, pretty much every hit just bounce off of them.

    Your bumper and impact bar behind bumper are designed to take a hit, which will absorb most of impact. You ad a grille/brush guard, the frame/ mounting points take the direct hint. Which will most likely damage it. Plus grille/brush will be push into multiple other front-end parts ( grilled, headlights, fenders) fenders pushed into doors. I use to run a autobody shop years ago. Mostly saw more damage with them, than without them.

    Another thought, your crumple zones are designed to absorb energy and direct it safely away from people. Armor up and all of the sudden your vehicle doesn't absorb anything - imagine what it does to the other vehicle.

    It's not terribly unreasonable to think that you might be held responsible for the modifications you do to your vehicle in the event of an accident where people get hurt as a result.
