I have a question about ditch lights. I have a set of ditch lights mounted on my truck but don't really like the look of them hovering over my hood. I am thinking about moving them above my TRD Pro fogs in the bezel opening (See Pic). I need opinions though. Would this still be an effective place to mount them or would it be to low?

Mounting a 'ditch light' in a fog light location would no longer be a ditch light.

Are you just trying to make use out of the lights you have?

It would be too low to be an effective 'ditch' light in that location, but as an auxiliary light it would help with visibility offroad. Better than not having them, but not great if you're trying to light up the front sides of the truck like a ditch light traditionally does.

Thanks. I kind of figured that but I figured that I would ask for opinions.

Well, they would definitely be closer to the ditch in that location. :)

Reminds me of the good old Maximas and their corner lights..
Too low for ditch lights, and tough to get them aimed out far enough at the front.

That is my next option. I have already purchased a set of mirror covers to start the process.
