@Tour991, get ready. We're having some pretty heavy downpours this morning with hail at times. You are definitely in for more. Just heard a nice round of thunder rolling as well.

Raining down here today, supposed to next week too. Forecasts over summer said a super dry fall but that has not been the case, thankfully

I think we are going to get more this afternoon. I'd love some thundersnow. This morning was pretty good. I got some snow wheeling in on the way to work. Next week we may get a foot or two.

    @01x4

CPU cooler and RAM finally in hand!

New budget build is nearly complete; just going to get a GPU later when AMD's RDNA 3 comes out as well as the other Nvidia RTX 4XXX series cards.

I saw an all black SR5 the other day that didn't look bad. I had to double take, sort of caught me by surprise. The color helped. Looks like an inflated Tacoma

Basically this, but less shitty wheels

To be fair, if it's in great running condition you should probably give it away/donate it to someone that can use it.

Otherwise I'd be taking it for parts if that's ok...

I can build it today, but that's if the Kraken is a newer revision with the included 1700 backplate.

If it's an older variant, I'll have to order it through NZXT (free of course).

    Per NZXT support -

Update 11/29/21: Bracket requests processed within the 2 business days may not be shipped immediately. We ship all brackets in the order they are received and when inventory is available.

With the release of their new CPUs, Intel also introduced a new socket—the LGA 1700. This new socket requires changing the mounting system for our Kraken series of AIO CPU coolers. We've included this new bracket in all Kraken coolers we are manufacturing. Future Kraken units produced after 11/25/21 will include the new LGA 1700 bracket. Please keep in mind that retailers may have older units that still don't yet have the bracket.

You can find the production date for your cooler in the serial number, starting with the 6th digit of the serial number as highlighted in bold below:

    37227 210217 202510

The first two bolded numbers are the year, followed by the month, and ending with the day. For example, this serial number states the year was 2021 (21), in the month of February (02), on the 17th (17).

If you already have a Kraken or purchased one that doesn't already include the LGA 1700 bracket, no need to worry. We'll provide a free LGA 1700 bracket kit. All you need to do is follow the directions below.

We expect to begin shipping the LGA 1700 bracket kits to customers who have ordered them, we have already started shipping them out and will be shipping them in batches. We will notify you when your bracket is available and shipped. They will be shipped out in the order they were received, and we appreciate your patience. If you have already placed an order, you will receive a notification when your LGA 1700 bracket ships out.

How to get the LGA 1700 Bracket
    (1) Visit our support page and submit a ticket.

    (2) Choose "LGA 1700 Bracket Support" as your department.

    (3) Attach your Kraken series AIO liquid cooler proof of purchase.

    (4) Attach your motherboard with LGA 1700 socket proof of purchase.

Upon validation, the bracket will be shipped to you free of charge.

To learn more about the LGA 1700 bracket, check our FAQ

    U.S Customers:

All LGA 1700 Bracket requests will be shipped as soon as inventory is available. Your package will arrive within five business days once shipped, and we will update you with the shipping information as soon as your order is completed.

    Canada Customers:

Oh I agree, just saying the all black helped tone it down.

    But I think of this:

Good to see they're on top of it. So you just have to open it up and see if yours is good to go...

Sounds good, I built it a few years back to host movies and music on but using Plex now and have no use for it. I wiped it and it has a fresh windows 10 install. If you don't want it Ill just donate it.
