Hmmm... let's see. A fake hood scoop or rear locker. I trust you'll make the right decision.

Sure. That’s what you should’ve said then.

In your post you stated 5ft bed is “so small” Which is far from being true. It’s very useful if you know how to stack/organize stuff.

This is just asinine. If you want to haul substantial items, you need a long bed, period.

No, I like the scoop and color matched flares. I’m not a “off roader” or mall crawler. To each his own…

Why? I can do it perfectly fine with a 5ft box.

Long bed is 10’ in my books.

Them F-150s with the v6 were awesome. I would never get rid of that.

I don't regret my Sport. Access cab + MT equals just what I wanted. I have no intention of turning into a "broverlander". I also wanted a 4x4 for those just in case times but never intend on going places that lockers are needed. The stiffer suspension is also a plus when doing oh shit maneuvers on the highway at 65 mph. Congrats OP on your find! In the end I like them all!

The way I see it and it's just me.......I had no need for the OR or the Sport. I thought at tge same price point I would get the OR as it's pretty close to a pro. The pro seems very desirable and the OR seems like a good starting point for an imitation build. I'm not selling mine for many many years anyway

Correction, there was no such a thing as a V6 in that generation of Ford truck, it has the virtually bullet proof 4.9 liter I6. :)

ARE canopy with sliding screened windoors and rhino roof track, Warn semi-hidden winch mount with VR 10 winch, nightrider 28" single row LED lightbar, Hood scoop light bar, Anytime front and rear cameras. anytime Navigation switch, plug-in oil pan heater, plug-in block heater, plug-in battery blanket. WINTER: Snow Sport plow with back-drag modification, Bridgestone Blizzak DM V2 on steelies 265-70-17.
I bought the Sport for leather interior, sunroof, and LSD for daily driving in snow. LSDs are better than lockers for highway 4x4.

What your Sport (and mine as well) has is "Auto LSD", which is a brake induced LSD(ish) type of function where the wheel spinning is slowed/stopped by the brakes so the other wheel will be forced to turn.

It has 203,000; we recently flipped over the 200,000 mile mark on a road trip between Denver and New England. :)

    I've seen those photos before.

My 5ft bed came in handy too as I moved mattresses & box springs out of my storage unit and turned in my key! (BONUS!)

no regrets here at all, either option is great. i am not an offroader and the fake scoop looks so good !

In Canada, the TRD Off Road is a SB, TRD Sports (auto) only come in LB so that was my only concern but we are team LB

I like the looks of the sport and it's all i could find in a manual. I'd like to have a locking rear diff, but it is not really a requirement for me.
