Bought a 21 tacoma recently with alot of goodies, can't seem to find the exact trd fox suspension I have anywhere... Im thinking about doing a Wescott Designs lift kit if compatible.

I assumed they were a earlier set.. They still ride great, don't really want to let these go to waste, but I need more clearance.

    17-18 model right there.
There was no 2016 pro, they changed the decals in 2019, then 2020+ is all sorts of different.

Looking more at those pictures, there is something wrong there.... those are not the OEM springs... Their not the eibach lift springs either.

OEM springs are the same diameter the whole way, those are tapered at the bottom.

These are my OEM 2017 pro suspension, notice the spring is not the same as yours. I have never seen that spring before on pro suspension either.

EDIT: maybe its just the angle, or the spring is bowing out with a load on them. But the springs actually look like they are from a tundra trd pro shock. They have a tapered bottom like that

Get bigger tires if you need more clearance

A lift won’t give you more clearance. Nothing wrong with doing it for the looks but it won’t do what you’re asking of it.

More lift doesn't help with that either

What JKO is trying to say, at a certain point, going higher will not allow you to have larger tires. You will be limited by the cab mounts and the pinch welds in the wheel wells before the height of the truck becomes a issue. The trd pro is pretty much at that limit already, your going to need skinny tires and you can fit a 33 in there, if you want wide tires, 10 inch is factory, then you will need to do cab mounts.

Won’t do anything for that either, it just pushes the wheel further down within the same travel distance constraints as the stock suspension. More clearance comes from cutting stuff or by managing the use of space through alignment and wheel offset.

I'm currently running 255/80/17 skinnies I just feel like the truck isn't big enough

If you want a bigger tire than that you can’t do it without fairly significant cutting of the wheel well, fender and cab mount on the frame. You will also make the truck even slower, more sluggish and get even worse gas mileage with those tires.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I put the Westcott on my TRd Pro shocks to help with the serious amount of rake I got with my Deaver leafs.
It most certainly added some height and for me where I wanted to be. Didn’t change anything other than ride height.
I am rolling factory TRD Pro wheels and 285/75/16. I haven’t had to CMC my ride nor pull off any flaps.
Overall I am very happy with the mod, and could recommend it.
