Hello just trying to see if I’ve found a good deal or not I found a local guy selling a 2011 trd off road 4x4 access cab with 136k on it for just $15k I feel like even before the crazy used car market it’s a good deal but just figured I would consult the experts of Tacoma world

Make sure it is actually a Trd off-road edition. They should have an E locker in the back. You should see the switches on the dash for that a lot of people just put stickers on to make it look cool definitely check out the frame for rust specially up in the front corners.

I'll echo this. Dont be afraid to get under the truck with a flashlight. It's not uncommon for people to paint over rust so look closely.

I'll echo what the others have said: check for frame rust! Especially on the inside of the frame near the catalytic converters. Flashlight and take a screwdriver to tap/poke at rusty areas and see if it goes through.

Because it's a 2011, it won't likely qualify for any "free" frame replacements from Toyota anymore. A new frame costs upwards of $7k from things I've read on these forums. This is why it's important to look over it very closely!

Also check that the frame isn't de-laminating. Look at this link below to see a picture of what I'm talking about. If the two layers of frame metal are separating like that, walk away.
