I am pleasantly surprised to see the Feds busted a nationwide ring of catalytic converter thieves. None linked to Florida as of yet. I hope you all who had them stolen will see this as a step in the right direction.

    Good!
Local PD’s w the help of Feds have busted a couple small (on a national scale anyways) rings. Of course people are getting frustrated on the street level as these thefts are happening every night. Of course what they don’t want to hear is (and I don’t blame em) that they’re focusing on who’s buying them, rather than the crack head with the batt opp recip.

Saw an article a while back where some warehouse was filled with those milk crates that say “misuse is a federal crime” and they were being shredded and sold to the companies that used the plastic to make new milk crates. The cycle continues.

Are gen 3 Tacoma's cats easily stolen? I can't remember where they are. I only changed my oil once so far.

"Six people of DG Auto are accused of buying the stolen parts and "de-canning" them to extract the powdered metals and sell them to a metal refinery. They allegedly made about $545 million from the process"

Holy shit had no idea it was that profitable

I haven’t tried, but yes I believe they are second only to the Tundra, so that leads me to believe they are (and profitable).

Doesn't matter how many guns you have. Nobody is invincible. If one wanted your resources in a SHTF situation they could just wait a good distance out until you stepped outside to tend to your 'farm' and take you out and help themself to all your goodies.

Now if we're just talking about cat converter thieves, then yes you're probably pretty safe.
