I was doing leaves in shorts today and its november 3rd, we are either not getting winter this year, or we are going to get fucked into the next ice age with it. Either way my crocs are ready.

None yet, starting over!! OME lift w/ Dakars & 885's Remote Start w/ window control
Replaced a broken rear manual sliding window with a power version.

Window came from Ebay, shipped for $750 (found out I might have been able to get it from the installer cheaper, but they didn't mention that when I called about installation a month ago). Was slightly concerned about dropping that much money on used parts, but so far it's been a 5 star purchase. Install ran me $200 after I tipped the guy for showing up on a Friday evening at 5pm and not postponing my install until the following week.... plus he did a great job and was quite quick with everything.

Added some sound deadening & CCF for noise control while I was back there, have MLV on its way but needed to get truck back together for a weekend coast trip. Will replace the water heater strap brackets at some point in the near future, but for now they work well enough :)

Do they make the cat back exhaust with the black tip for a long bed? I only find the one with the chrome tip.

also did you use any special tools for those spring bolts, and did you get any gaskets to install where the cat back is placed? Sorry for the questions, I want to install a cat back on my truck and don’t want to go in half cocked

Picked her up from the body shop after about a month. Couldn’t be happier to have the Taco back. The shop did a great job....Also installed Cali raised bed stiffeners and bulletpoint phone mount. I’ll put the diamondback cover on tomorrow... I ran out of sunlight tonight.

Note to self- NEVER not back into a parking space again

Added LED headlight low/high beams and a set of take-off cast side steps off an Off Road. Love the look of each but not sure about the steps. They hit me right in the calf when I get out. Will take getting used to...

Thanks man I love the blue too. Growing up as a NYG fan it was my favorite color (although I don’t watch football anymore).

I have a SD diamondback with 8 tie down points...Bought it from a guy who upgraded to an Alu Cab with the crossbin for a total of $1k. If I had a long bed Tacoma I would’ve gotten the HD for a future quad set up.

Check with your local dealer's parts department for longbed TRD catbacks. I'm not sure if that's available. You could always have an exhaust shop weld in a 1ft piece of pipe or so to make it work with a longbed if Toyota doesn't sell it.

I only needed a 14mm deep socket and 3/8" ratchet for the two bolts. The nuts are tack welded to the y pipe. The rest of the system is hanging on about 4? rubber exhaust hangers (one by the tail pipe 3 near the muffler I think). Some WD40 and or soapy water will help to pull the hangers loose. Once unbolted and removed from the hangers slide the entire catback forward towards the front of the truck. (place a towel over the rear axle and a few on the ground). You'll need to rotate it a bit as your pulling the old system out and placing the new TRD catback in. The new system slides under the truck and needs to be fed towards the back of the truck over the rear axle. Set the system in the hangers and connect your two bolts. (M10 x 1.25 x 35mm bolts and M10 x 1.25 nuts should you strip anything or need to replace).

It should only take about 20 minutes unless the rubber hangers are fighting you.

    Gasket part #
    90917-06076

I'll probably order the TRD intake on the next Black Friday sale.

Not sure about availability for the Long Bed, but on the short bed you don’t mess with the spring bolts. I always replace the gasket when switching out the exhaust. There’re not expensive.

Here’s the install instructions. I think the Gasket part# has changed.

The R4T "rock light" mount for the cyclones works perfectly, and its angled exactly right so the light is horizontal. Here's mine
