I know. Adding a post helps bump the thread for more exposure.

2D1FF1E3-D806-4987-A755-EB678461D835.jpg I got the bumps in first. We will build/measure everything off of full bump & full droop then weld. Had a knee surgery 6 days ago so getting puff off for a few more weeks. Can’t wait to get these 5100s off … stay tuned.
I am not the guy who does write up’s on anything and I’m not excited about doing it but I am compelled to because TW doesn’t have many (any) on Locked off-road shocks. I will do all the work myself so we have to wait on the knee…

At the expense of annoying people by adding nothing to the thread.

It’s not clear to me what you are trying to show in the pic. It looks like you are limiting uptravel by about 2”, but I don’t know why.

People as in you? Cause you seem to be the only one thats annoyed. Then again your posts add nothing to this thread either, so are you gonna be the pot or the kettle?

This is why I do not enjoy posting. There is always someone with a snide finger wag. Like the little old lady in tennis shoes that takes pictures of me working on my junk in the driveway.

This picture shows forward movement in the instal.
    Installed not adjusted.

I actually don't know anything about hydrobumps but I wouldn't assume that they'd limit uptravel. Do you know if that's the case?

I didn’t mean to be snide. I was asking for a clarification of what the pic was showing.

The hydro bump in the pic appears to be adjusted such that it bottoms out about 2” before the stock bump stop, but I’m just eying it based on a pic.

I suppose it would depend on intended use, the go fast guys like max bump as leaf spring becomes flat, the crawler guys go to negative arch. I’m a more crawling that hauling arce in the desert
I had planned on setting max bump at a little negative arch. Any suggestions?

You're really only going to have one height to mount the bump stops unless you plan to reduce up travel.

    Update…
Finally got my bumper mounted today, still needs adjustment and grill mounted. Sure does ride better with the weight…
Will get the rear shock relocation on in the next few weeks.
