Ya know those aircraft like the C-17, C-5B, C-130 and KC-10s. Well, we call them Dixie Cup haulers.
    Here is the proper description:
    Military Career Information:

Alternate TitlesTravel Clerks; Reservation Clerks; Transportation AgentsDescriptionBACKGROUND

The military constantly moves passengers and cargo. Personnel often travel to meetings, training sessions, and new assignments. Supplies and equipment to support troops must be shipped regularly. Transportation specialists plan and assist in air, sea, and land transportation for people and cargo. Some assist passenger travel as gate agents and flight attendants. WHAT THEY DO

Transportation specialists in the military perform some or all of the following duties:

    • Determine which vehicles to use based on freight or passenger-movement requirements
    • Determine transportation and shipping routes
    • Prepare transportation requests and shipping documents
    • Check in passengers and baggage for military transport flights
    • Serve as military airplane flight attendants
    • Inspect cargo for proper packing, loading, and marking
    TRAINING PROVIDED

Job training consists of 6 to 9 weeks of classroom instruction, including practice in making transportation arrangements. Course content typically includes:
    • Planning transportation for personnel and cargo
    • Proper cargo handling, shipping, and storing methods
    • Analysis of transportation documents
Further training occurs on the job and through advanced courses. HELPFUL ATTRIBUTES

Helpful school subjects include mathematics and English. . Helpful attributes include:
    • Interest in arranging travel schedules

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

Transportation specialists usually work in offices. They may work outdoors when escorting passengers or processing shipments. Flight attendants work on land and in airplanes. CIVILIAN COUNTERPARTS

Civilian transportation specialists work for airlines, shipping firms, and commercial freight lines. They perform duties similar to military transportation specialists. Civilian transportation specialists may also be called travel clerks, reservation clerks, or transportation agents. OPPORTUNITIES

The military has about 11,000 transportation specialists. Each year, the services need new specialists due to changes in personnel and the demands of the field. After job training, they make travel and shipping arrangements under direct supervision. Some may specialize as flight attendants and gate agents. With experience, they may become supervisors of other transportation specialists. In time, they may manage transportation offices.

Haha whatever is the least amount of paper work. I didn't carry a big flashlight. I carried a monadnock baton which at the time was better than an asp since it has a button to collapse it and each shaft spins on its own to prevent someone from taking it from you in a struggle, I also had the self locking holder to prevent someone from taking it off my belt. Of course a triple retention holster. Hinged cuffs for better control. I put my important equpiment up front or on the sides since I am rather petite my advantage is on the ground in a fight and I wanted to be able to get to certain gear in a scuffle. It worked out well for me, but I switched things up a few times at first before I figured it out. I liked using OC :D. Of course a knife is a good tool also, mine was hooked into the front of my underbelt.

Yeah I looked at how everyone else had there stuff, asked why alot then determined what best fit my needs. Since I'm pretty petite I had to figure out the safest places for my equipment, a lot of the guys have similar set ups to each other, mine was the most different. They didn't get tasers here till the year I left. I didn't carry gloves and other stuff on my belt cause I didn't have enough room.

We need areas for LE and military chat :).

everything on my belt is on the sides or front...i keep it crammed together for a couple reasons...easy to reach and pay attention to someone trying to get it...and if you fall and hit something with your back...you dont want anything digging into your spine...that could be a pretty devastating injury...im not keen on getting paralyzed...

my taser is the first thing on the left side, but its canted for cross draw with my dominant hand...i like cuffs on both sides so that i can get to a pair with either hand...i dont work a lot at night so the flashlight is towards the back and keeps other things easier to reach...the radio has a lapel mic so i dont even have to pull it out...

mine is configured very similar to MOST of the officers in my dept...as we're pretty much told a uniform way to carry things...reason being is if youre in a fight or situation and youre down and the backup officer needs to get something...its very easy to locate on your belt...plus the way i have it is actually pretty comfy to sit down with since very little is at my back

i didnt use to carry rubber gloves, but with the taser...we're required to pull the prongs out when we tase someone once we get them into custody...not ems...so i need to be able to grab a glove easily

i dont think thats a good reason for you to have your belt uniform... you should have it set up for your usage only. but i guess everyones policys are different... we dont get tasers.... yet lol. and going back to my knife... its only going to be if i have to "STOP A THREAT" its for if they grab my gun. i lock down on there and and with my left unsheath
it and a good strike across the... well LEO's understand thats a deadly force move so you can guess what i would do.

well theres some movement allowed but they like for us to "match" for both aesthetic reasons and the reason i mentioned above...

i like having the taser personally...they seem to be a LOT more threatening to a criminal than a baton...we can draw the taser and turn it on and not have to write a use of force report...and that will deter a LOT of people from resisting...that little light and laser on there are scary

a lot of guys whove had to use theres more than i have say they'll pull up on a fight and they'll hear (on a regular basis) "oh shit its the county they got the phasers/tasers) and people hit the ground...occasionally someone will run but word of mouth about being tased spreads quickly apparently

i have a knife too but i keep it clipped to my left back pants pocket...its not the easiest thing for me to grab but i can get it without much effort...

im not sure that i'd be able to use it in the situation you described as its a flip open type knife...but if it came down to it i know i could make it work if i had to...i actually had never thought about using it in that capacity and i might rethink where i put it now
