Let's just say when I picked up @Sixthelement 's bed rack in my stock '19 - I felt a little...inadequate. At least i had an MT.

No, they make a model that is a small toy hauler but this is just a small 2 person trailer. Bad ass kitchen on the back side, 38 gallons of water, a/c and furnace. Just sick of tent camping and didn’t want pop up camper in the truck all the time.

Someone else pulling a sleeping box! - just back from a 3800 mile road trip to pick ours up. Spent a few days in ColoRADo, some of the fall colors are left.

Haha. And just last weekend we were wrapping up @Lfaub03 rear bumper. I was looking at the truck in the driveway and told him it looked small. Maybe I need 39’s or 40’s lol. I am about due for tires soon

edit: just checked and only have 7500 miles on this set lol. 7000 of them are probably dirt

You're not a man until your tire size starts with a 4.

You need a Cruisemaster hitch. My neighbor has one on his Boreas trailer, its almost cool enough to make me want an offroad trailer...almost.

Unless you chop the front half of the frame off and rear half. It isn’t worth it. I’m at least half way there

Definitely plan on making some room. I really like the Warfab warthog front bumper and I think imma build my own rear and sliders. Would love to put DK long travel with kings but I’m not made of money soooo…in time

Bumpers and suspension don’t clear big tires. Gigantic holes in the body clear big tires.

Headlight relocation may also limit me from going larger tires. Much as I want to, there isn’t much that can be don’t to keep the front looking “normal” while relocating or modifying headlights and hood and what not. Just a shame 37’s are so small by todays standards

There is a simple solution to all your problems, limit up travel. That high speed low COG shit is overrated

    Start saving now!

I'm only on extended travel (albeit quality stuff) and skinny 33's (so no money spent on clearing the cab side of the tire, or moving the LCA's forward) and I am already at ~$16,600 on just stuff that is at or below the frame of the truck. Very little of that (~2,800) is paying someone else for labor.

It's a pricey venture for sure!
