That blows my mind. Maybe get universal cats to weld in? Not long at all till I'm looking at this. Makes aftermarket look even better.

I think there's a law that used cats can't be sold. They can be sold to scrap, but not sold for reuse in another vehicle.

Turns out it's a licensing thing in some states/areas. Metal resales regulations about base vs precious metals. (*insert elaborate shrug emoji*)

So I saw the weirdest and craziest car that I have ever seen today in the parking lot of a supermarket. I saw it leaving and I asked myself, "what the heck is that?" But backOf it just said open "air touring" and the front of it just said "LUCID". It was an EV . When I got home I had to look it up. Apparently, they are just starting to be delivered from from reserve orders from from 3 years ago. It is a New 1100 horsepower Luxury EV with a 500+ mile range to take on Tesla. They start at $115k and go up to $250k. It literally looked like the entire thing was made of light. Even the entire dash was one gigantic touch screen.

Thanks for checking in! I’ve made some posts in the meme thread and helped so guys with electrical issues. Been busy with the family and renovations on the house. All good. I have some parts to bolt on my truck but nothing new recently. As Covid winds down I’ve been actively volunteering for good causes. Pretty sad about Rick, big shock. Hope all is going well in your world. Really appreciate the check in.

Good to hear you’ve been busy. If you need help or anything, you know where to reach us. But in all, we all got some sort of parts we need to bolt on.

Yeah I’m still hit damn hard from Rick. Miss him a lot, especially when I have questions or just want to chat him up.

Check in more often, keep us posted on anything.

Our state doesn’t allow any cat to be scraped without a car attached to it.

One thing I miss. When I owned my Kia stinger. The most questions I’d get. “ what kind of car is that?”

For what? I don't even have one on my duramax. Gas trucks don't need them unless you want quicker warm up times

I agree. For that one week in February we rarely need it. Tired semi’s do after a cold weekend. There are always a few in our fleet that need the plug in. But our drivers usually forget about it on Friday night even though they are given extension cords and park the trucks along a fence with outlets for each rig. :crapstorm:
