Had to change this yesterday while running a work errand. Wasn’t even a tool worth keeping.

For driving in the backcountry or extended road trips, CD's are my favorite. No messing around with cables, phone media apps, bluetooth, song selection... Just slap in a disk and go. I usually make a bunch of "mix tapes" for my long trips and then they live in the console for whenever the radio sucks.

Mind If I ask what the purpose is behind the platforms underneath the cases?

I need to come up with some good solution for storage in my bed so I can push it out of the way or pull it back to the tailgate for access since I have a cap on the bed. Probably just need to attach a rope to my tote that stays in the bed and secure the rope to one of the tie downs by the tailgate.

my wife hit a nice pipe wrench, didn’t blow the tire, but it kicked up and nailed the the driver rear door in her equinox. She turned around to grab the wrench, only to see the car behind her stopped, picking up the wrench, and driving off!

Any preferred aftermarket side mirrors? Mine are both broke

And I also tore the bumper portion of my passenger flare off this morning, breaking the clip on the front of it, any advice there?

Ok, so…been a long time since i actually updated what I’ve done to my 2nd Gen. Lots of things have been done, i might have to do this in installments. Hope i don’t get dinged by the moderators for taking several posts to complete my update, but I feel with the amount of time i’ve invested in this truck, and since my last update was many months ago….

    first update

I’ve put an AllPro Dual Swingout Rear, along with an AllPro front bumper. Both are steel, and weigh to much.

Installed the sweet new Bluetooth rear driveshaft! So clean, like those amazing SEMA show trucks.

Or had my driveshaft rear tubed because I had apparently given it a few little love taps.

When I got it back, I replaced the carrier bearing and ujoints.
