Since my new wheels and tires along with new TPMS sensors I've had the same issue. I had a garage repair the TPMS sensors and they worked for about a day and then it started all over again.

Retarded question. But do skinnies ride better than fatter tires on road? Looking into improving my tacos on-road performance by changing out the oem-suspension and tires.

In my experience, yes, because they are typically lighter and have less mass. But that's a whole another can of worms that we covered about 10 pages ago. Obviously depends on what type of tire you run. I run the Toyo Open country 255s which are around 51 lb. And they feel great. Big difference over 56 to 57 lb tires. For an e load all-terrain they perform great on the road. My truck feels much quicker off the line than 285 I've driven. Compared to 265s, the 265 is obviously feel better because they're going to be lighter, usually. Your stock suspension and tires will always feel the best as far as performance goes.

It's definitely softer on your steering components and easier to maneuver than wide wheels and tires, especially if you don't go to an extreme offset but run them closer to stock like many guys on here do.

Adjust the pressure a couple of pounds up or down.

And like Dirtnsmores said, lighter wheels/tires will certainly improve your power. I've noticed a huge gain in acceleration and braking performance.

Sounds like something with the sensors for sure. Did you keep the spare? There's a sensor in there also. I think 32PSI is on the low end, maybe that's why it's on. You do a chalk test yet?

I threw away my sensors and no longer worry about them.

Bypassed mine on my 4R since they're 14 years old. Only a matter of time until the light was stuck on. Requires a walk around of the vehicle before you drive but I'm ok with that.

I'd be inclined to do the same if I hadn't paid for new ones when mounting and balancing.

I actually found my 235/85 16s to be slightly less stable on the road than the stock Wranglers they replaced. Both wind and road surface weirdness pull my truck around more. It's not enough to make me regret going this skinny but I thought I should mention it.

I sort of wish I had gone with 255/80/16s over the 235's. I'm pretty sure 33s would have helped me out the other day when I got stuck in some ruts. But I'm also wondering if skinnies are best for the FL muck I tend to run into and or maybe invest in M/T over A/T. If I go M/T id probably need to invest in a new sound system in the truck too.....

Am the only one that didn't know this tire was available in pizza cutters? I always forget to search 33x10.50 along with 255/80. But first time I've seen these either way.

I took out my dash panel and removed the TPMS light. Problem solved. Should be the same on an '11.

Is that a Wrangler Duratrac? Must be new, because I don't remember seeing that size before.
