Tacoma or your underwear, which one have you owned longer?

Note to self, avoid TacomaWorld on Friday.

 

Underwear.... I still have pairs that my highschool girlfriend gave me... that was 23 years ago.

 

Tacomas last longer. They just don't make underwear like they used to.

 

Underwear is forever, if you're not too proud to wear suspenders. And have a little extra ventilation...

 

Probably true. I have no idea how they have made underwear since 2015.

 

Underwear. Owned the Tacoma for 1.5 years before I sold it

 

Pretty sure my 2nd gen undies will out last my newest 3rd genners. The 4.0 elastic band makes me fell like a real man.

My 1st gen undies are getting a little rust colored on the bottom, but they keep on trucking..

 

The real question: Which has carried the bigger load, the Tacoma or the undies?

 

Ah the appropriate Friday additions.

I have tattered shirts, shorts and pants but the socks and underwear get rotated out.

Depends. I wear Under Armour boxerjocks, the longer ones, because they were the only things I could wear in the field without chaffing. Commando is popular but doesn't work for me. I've had deployments where access to clean laundry could go for weeks (sometimes not even feasible to handwash) so I bought about 30 pair over the years and rotate them. They cost between $15-25 a pair.

All this to say, I might still own some older than my truck.

 

Or you could wear Depends

 

They don't wick as well.

*As an aside...I didn't realize earlier that I started my post with 'Depends.'

This thread reminded me of an embarrassing moment many years ago when my girlfriends parents caught me with my girlfriends panties on my head.

Most embarrassing of all, my girlfriend was still in them at the time.
