It's a BedRug brand, it feels like outdoor carpet but is actually a poly closed cell foam that fills in all the grooves in the truck bed, and also wraps up the sides.

I love everything I've done to the truck so far. I have a bunch of important projects lined up that will continue making it into the full featured camper, but I have now camped in it a couple fo times and it's going in the right direction.

Will do! I have my Maxaire fan, chinese diesel heater, kitchen sink and aluminum to build the permanent cabinets all staring me in the face, but I've run out of inspiration for now. I'll be sure to post as I tickoff each project.

I do want to point out that going lightweight in the build is a very good thing. My gas mileage has improved by about 1 mpv on average since installing the cap and the basic build-out.

Some folks have asked what I did to block rain from entering the front corners. This is what it looks like. Messy but you dont notice if you're not looking for it.

But I am having an issue in the back. Rain pools at the top hinge of the hatch, and because that's the narrowest part when you lift the hatch that rain just pours inside the tailgate. I've ordered some rubber drip edging, hope that helps.

Ok I installed RV drip channel to see if it helps with the whole "opening the hatch dumps a bunch of water inside" issue. I'm worried it is too low in the middle center. Have to wait for a rain to find out I guess. On the plus side I don't think it looks weird.

    Really nice build!

The high top shells seem so much more useful. My standard height shell is tight inside.

The security alarm system that gives a loud alarm when the glass is smashed. It's an available option, and also available aftermarket. I'm not sure I care about it now, I think a cat shield is more important if I have money to spend on security.
