Installed end of May 2022. No issues whatsoever. Just went a different route so I no longer need.

Includes some optional resistor splitters (the Y-shaped piece threaded onto the switchback bulb harness). That Y piece gives you the ability to add on a 15 ohm resistor from VLEDS or similar if you so choose. The purpose to doing so is to eliminate turn signal hyperflash when in reverse (aka parallel parking). If you don’t care about that then you can simply remove the Y’s and leave them off.

Good price! Hard to get as they sell out fast. I have a set and they are a lot brighter. I have 2020 TRD OR DC SB in Canada and did not need resistors for hyperflashing.

 

Thanks. Nobody really “needs” the resistors on a TRD model; the only situation with any hyperflashing is when in reverse and using the turn signal (aka the parallel parking situation). For me the only reason I wanted the resistors was because they’re super cheap, plug and play, and because in the back of my head I knew they would HF in that specific situation which I never really even end up in. So for $15 I threw them in the cart when I was buying some other stuff from VLEDS.

 

Just tried the reverse signal combo, and the left signal did hyperflash, right signal no issue. Haven't paralleled parked on left side of road with the truck lol! Odd only on one side? Still a good deal with resistors!

 

Weird for sure. I’m pretty sure mine does it on either side. Did you have the truck running when you did it? That will affect it due to alternator voltage.

 

Yes I started the vehicle and tried switching in and out of reverse trying each side with left first then right and right first then left.
