It didn’t used to be like this. It’s insane how many vehicles I’ve worked on this year before my own.

 

I've grown pretty petty with my cars over the last year for working on them. I feel you, I was always down to turn wrenches but lately, not so much. Garage is a lot messier because of it. I have my moments but by and large just don't feel like it these days.

 

Wife and I are looking to go from a queen mattress to a CA king one (room is really small as it is, regular width king is out of the question), it's been years since I've bought a mattress but holy fuck. I don't remember them being that expensive.

In all seriousness, wife and I made the leap to a CA king a few years ago. So awesome.

We actually went to one of those places that has a "digital bed" that measures pressure points etc. It recommended a firm bed for me and I wasn't stoked since I always had soft beds prior. Turns out, the firm bed made all my back pain go away. One of the best investments I ever made.

 

There are cheaper options online I'm sure. I know some people use purple and there are others.

 

Also, don't skimp on a bed. You spend almost 1/3 or 1/4 of your life in one. Do the research and spend the $$ for a good one that is tailored to you.

 

Purple was my first thought too, but those are in the $1800-$2k range...I was surprised because their commercials made it seem they were an inexpensive option.

Looking like Costco is probably the best bet, definitely don't want to go too cheap though. My near 40 year lower back will make me regret it I'm sure

 

Yeah whatever we get it's going to need to have a good trial/exchange policy, definitely need to test it out before committing for good
