Fify. When I was an rso I threw out Leo’s, military and “experienced shooters”. There is no shortage of unsafe shooters.

I seen my share of rsos that should not be anywhere near guns let alone be safety officers.

I'd expect so. They take the job for the range discount or to carry a gun. I was lucky to have had worked with good people.

Sorry my question stopped at the ? The rest was just preference correct. Before i got a gut I would appendix carry. Personally i really like dual retention hip holsters.

there are alot of companies that make a foam wedge shape also. It goes on the back of the holster and will wedge the bottom of the holster out and tuck the grip in a bit more.
I also have one of those cross draw leather shoulder strap deal.

now a days I tend to avoid the “soft target” places though where a little printing isn’t going to matter for me if I decided to carry in a tshirt

The day you have a problem is the day you or someone may not be able to get back to the interwebbz to tell the story.
Do you do any type of vetting for your clients?

What type of licensing did you need to get to run a service like that? I feel like NJ makes running a small business difficult as it is with all the permits/legal needs without guns in the mix.

None. I didn’t even need to LLC but i did to protect myself and the landowners whos property i hunt on. When you go hunting with a guide all responsibility is on the individual hunter. All I do is provide the decoys blinds and land. Maybe bait if deer hunting. Youre paging for the work not the kill.

Next year Ill be taking people out on the boat to hunt ducks and such so Ill be getting my captains license

accidents happen. I provide my clients with the safest environment I can. They get a briefing. And no I don’t do any vetting. If you have a hunting license youve already gone through the hunters education course 12 hours online and a full field day. And passed a written exam. Very rarely do you get someone with little to no experience when hunting. And those people get sat next to someone who has experience.

Progressive just bumped me $30 a month because of "inflation" $210-240 on a new subaru and an FJ cruiser both full coverage. I used to have 3 trucks on it for 210 earlier this year. bullshit.

Yikes. Last month I paid 166 for the taco and a 2011 BMW 335is. I wonder how much it will go up if I add a lift, wheels/tires, and other mods.

no, it’s not bullshit. insurance is just like any other consumer product - prices can vary depending on inflation, the economy and overall cost of doing business. guess what…. the cost of butter just went up on me.

but…. there could be other reasons your premium went up. call on the phone and ask for a review of your policy.

there are over 100 different rating factors for each policy. your premium is not going to be calculated the same as someone else’s, so other people’s prices are going to vary greatly from yours.

for mods you’ll want to make sure you have extra coverage for “custom parts and equipment”.

i did call them. Inflation was the response. Well, rising gas prices and inflated parts cost was the actual answer. I’ve only had 1 claim in 24 years of driving and it wasn’t even an accident. Progressive has made roughly $50k off me in that period. It’s a justified bullshit. I’m just gonna go shop for a new policy w geico.

Always a bad idea to stay with the same company for many years, there's a reason every tv ad says customers that switch save money

Yep. Best advice I’ve had on here all night. I actually had geico for a few years but mainly progressive. I’m gonna switch this week out of principle. I honestly could give a shit about the rate increase.
