Looks like we're getting fiber out here.. But they plowed through my trees laying conduit. And 99% sure they hit the DSL line for our current internet, coincidentally went out, no technician available until Monday
They surveyed but don't see any markers for the phone, just gas. I'm not sure where it comes into my property but there's a box across the road.

They said they aren't sure they hit a line.. Even though they get zero connectivity to the modem. My neighbor still has theirs up but they have their own box. Since it's all DSL they just use the old phone lines so each house has their own. Tried telling customer service that but they think if the neighbors are good the line wasn't hit

They ran conduit through our neighborhood too and I’ve seen a lot of complaints on nextdoor about hit facilities. Either way I’m looking forward to fiber internet. Century link sucks!!!

Same here man! I didn't think we were getting it, I looked up on the map and wasn't projected in my area. They laid this conduit pretty damn fast too, I was impressed. But no wonder why they're hitting all kinds of lines haha

I saw this bad boy yesterday. I'm not sure what he built it for. My first guess was obviously farm (I live in Timnath farm country) but the suspension and wheels/tires are overkill for any farming need. So I guess this is an F450 rock crawler?

I mean, it’s pretty much useless at everything you’re going to throw it at.

It’s clearly not set up for towing.

If you take it off road, it’s too wide and too long and you’re going to get high centered, it’s also probably too heavy.

I’m guessing just drive it to a shit kicker bar and pick fights all night?

I would blast past guys like this all the time in Wyoming on fire roads just because I had my shocks set up to not rattle my teeth out on washboards.

I've seen several flatbed camper builds done on these; bet that flatbed would work with one, even with that roof basket there. It wouldn't fit my needs since I'd want to go places where the trees aren't wide enough for the F450/F550. I wonder if folks see Earthroamer builds that use those wheels and tires and like the look. I think it's those Continental MPT 81 tires that wear out by 30k miles and are pricey (but they all probably are at that size).

Don’t understand why you would use mil truck tires made for vehicles that weigh several times as much and can get blow’d up on something that mostly lives on the highway.

But those aren’t the “military grade” Earthroamer wheels.

Thanks for pointing that out! I didn't look that close.
