In Pittsburgh there's a sandwich joint that has been putting coleslaw, French fries and tomatoes on sandwiches since the 1930s. It's called Primanti's.

The best fish tacos I ever had was in Washington D.C. years ago, before 9/11. My daughter had a German foreign exchange student for a month or so at the house. We took them on a trip to D.C., to see the sites. We stayed in a hotel somewhere near Georgetown. There was a Mexican restaurant nearby and I got the fish tacos. They were delicious but somehow didn't agree with me too much. later that day, being near the bathroom in the hotel room was not the place to be for anybody but me. :p

Good morning everybody :hattip:. Did you miss me?

Back from the shotgun class, still have all my fingers and toes, no extra holes either. If was a blast and very fun watching my son go from a total newbie with a shotgun to running it pretty darn well. He learned why us old cops liked them so much and now he wants one.

Sightseeing in St. Augustine was nice, it’s been about 10 years since we were there last. The Spanish Bakery is still the place to eat lunch in “old town.”

    Enjoy your weekend!

Good morning peeps! I'm off to get some work done on the deck. My brain is hurting from reading too many blogs and watching videos on the pros/cons of face nailing or screwing the outer joist to the deck joists, I'm just gonna use the 3" SDS's and screw them together.

I saw this random vid on the fecesbook last night, the guy opens a door and the cat is just hanging from the door jam on the other side, then proceeds to swing to the inside of the door, then move sideways towards the door where he claws his way down the door. It just made me laugh, it made me wonder why was going through the cats brain that made it seem like a good idea.

Same here. Wind woke me up, slamming into my bedroom windows.
Looks like it's about 25mph right now but we have a warning for 65mph gusts later today. Glad I'm not driving the camper in this!
Bonus to the wind this time of year is that it should clear all of the leaves out of the neighborhood!
