Only need a special permit (nfa tax stamp) if it has the third pin, which I don't see.

That's what's considered a "low shelf" receiver which means it's RDAS (registered drop-in auto sear) ready if he wanted to convert it to full auto. Anyone can buy them, but would obviously need proper permitting to convert.

I remember the ads for DIASs in the back of shotgun news. You could buy them COD.

Alas, I was in middle school and had no money.....

This is a recreation of a GM Hydromatic Lower. IntilMilCo is the one who makes them. He's doing my T65 lower too

I think I have one low shelf reciever the rest are all Aero I’m not sure what they are. For me it would be sentimental reasons for finding an A1 set and then try and build off it

Yeah lots of companies make or used to make low shelf. Spike's for example are mostly all low shelf.

He's constantly doing runs but is a one man shop ontop of doing Russian Paint(largest retailer of AK paint used by many in the industry). I'm waiting on an M16A1 to come in for my Mk18 mod 0 clone. Also on the first run of T65 lowers too.

    Question for you bros:

What form do I need to build an SBR at home? Went to my FFL to get their info before placing an order for a stripped lower at Aero Precision. Dude working there told me to scratch my pistol plan and go for the SBR since pistol braces will soon be regulated by the ATF. If braces carry a tax stamp as well, might as well pay the stamp for a stock to slap onto that hoe.

Form 5320.1, commonly called the form 1.

As someone with multiple NFA items, build it as a pistol, tell us you never built it, don’t post pictures of it on the internet, and enjoy it with a brace on it, a stock on it (if you’re feeling a bit wild) or just run a buffer tube.
If the BATFE attempts to change the definition of pistols without it going through congress they will be sued and they eventually will lose just like they did with the bump stocks.
No need putting your info on a national registry (that allegedly doesn’t exist, and legally can’t exist, but per FOIA requests ATF has said that all of firearms owners info that they have is digitized but the search function is “turned off”) until feds dumb enough to try to enforce stupid stuff knock on your door, and at that point we’re past registration.

just my .0000007 worth of buying power.
