I believed one of the ears on the horseshoe clip is broken off.
It looks like is holding just fine, but you’ll definitely need new clips next brake change.
I change them every time I do them myself.

My friend Anna, who dressed up as zombie huntress for a photo shoot last month m, was born in November 1997 to a fairly wealthy family. The first time she rode in my Tacoma back in January of this year, crank windows were a foreign concept to her. Her mom drives a Mercedes GLS550, her dad drives a Porsche Panamera, and they have a "beater" 2007 Cadillac Escalade for towing their boat. She had literally never been in a vehicle with manual windows and locks prior to riding in my truck.

Anna has mastered the crank windows the more she's ridden in my truck, but manual locks are still a relatively new thing to her and she hasn't quite figured those out. She is off the charts intelligent, like probably smarter than me, and this debacle is so amusing that it's adorable!

 

And then on Wednesday, Anna's electric scooter died. She walks to college from her house all the time, but not walking a dead scooter. She texted me literally right when I got home work to see if I could pick her up, and insisted on reimbursing me if I did so; I agreed to pick her up.

Her electric scooter is only marginally larger than the Razor kick scooters all the kids (including myself) had back in the early 2000s, and fit in the bed of my truck with no problem. Anna is such a kind soul and so polite that she was worried about damaging the bed of my truck with her scooter; I had to explain TWICE that "pickup trucks are meant for throwing shit in the bed"...

I love Anna. She is really one of the most amazing women I've ever met.

 

She's a keeper, cute girl too.

 

She cares more about college than dating right now...

I left all three Jack-O-Lanterns in the woods behind my house to see how long it takes them to rot; I think they will end up as snacks for the deer and raccoons before any significant decomposition sets in...
