I guess I forgot how to walk and chew gum today. Drove up to do my morning check on equipment and road conditions, had to stop a few time to cut out fallen trees and move rock falls out of the road. While I was moving one rock about the size of an I4, I bit the side of my tongue so bad that it made my teeth hurt. Now my tongue is swollen.
Only joy I am getting today is being able to tell people the section of forest we are in is closed due to the instability.
I'll check tomorrow if the waterfall ends up cutting the road in half. A small slide put a bunch of rock in a new spot and the water started eating the FSR.
I need to pick up a pinch bar next time I go to town so I don't have to jack my back up moving these big damn rocks.

Had a guy go 75% Karen on me today because one of our pieces of equipment was blocking one of the two ways into a private lot surrounded by national forest. I even warned him that it looked like it was but held up logging operations to let him go there. When he got back he started going off about knowing the law and knowing the owner of the company and he would be calling them. He didn't seem too pleased when I said "Did you really just ask to talk to the manager?" and proceeded to chuckle as I told him to go ahead and that I didn't care because I warned him and I didn't put it there.

 

I believe if you had followed this all the way thrrough you would have heard the cause was a medical emergency on the part of the driver.
