IIRC the TRD headers were discontinued years ago. That leaves aftermarket or used.
Ask about Edelbrock, Thorley or Summit racing. I have no experience with these so I'll be of no further help.

Haha, yeah, it gets people going seeing that thread title. OP, you’ll have a very hard time finding used TRD headers- you can look into Doug Thorley or JBA, might get some good advice on what people prefer

Not sure how long the TRD 3.4 headers have been "discontinued" for, but I bought my set directly from Toyota late 2019 and installed them January 2020. Like you I was looking for them and all resources claimed it was no longer available.

Most all Toyota dealers across the country will show zero availability, but what needs to be done is that whichever dealer is closest to you has to check their DEALER DAILY to access their main distribution centers across the country. I used to work at Toyota parts department this is how I know.

Call or go in person, ask if they could please check their DEALER DAILY for national availability, NOT their personal inventory. Part# PTR10-89990-07 If there's still some sets available it will show. In 2019 it showed 6 sets available. Give it a shot, good luck!

Yeah TRD headers are long gone, discontinued years ago. But I would be willing to bet that there are still a lot of sets collecting dust in dealer parts stores all over the place. Just gotta find one willing to look for you.

Toyota parts departments don't store parts that don't move (overpriced headers) being one.. That's why he should ask them to check the main distribution centers they stock their parts from.

that reminds me, I remember awhile back (5ish years ago) there was a bunch of new TRD headers that went up on eBay, apparently someone bought or rented out an old warehouse and found them stashed in boxes. Course those are all long gone

Yes! I remember too before I got mine. I believe Hammer Toyota was selling them on there, they were giving like 20% off on them at the time.

I happen to have a new set of trd headers for the 3.4 t100. I've read that they will fit the Tacoma, but not 100% sure

Why don't you just get Doug thorley headers?
You can order the correct configuration and roll, I've had my set for almost 100k with zero issues

TRD is the only one I know that will leak free. DT is crap, same for JBA. Go TRD or stick to stock. Plus, there's not much gain for the amount of headache and stress.

Just an update on this as I was looking for an OEM supercharger kit and found you can still get trd headers. There are also TRD performance headers. TRD headers were $300 ish while TRD performance were nearly $2k.

For the sake of completeness... What source did you find for the TRD and TRD Performance headers? For $300 bucks I would be inclined to get TRD headers as I look at replacing multiple exhaust gaskets, etc... If I am going to beat my knuckles up, I might as well get butt-dyno improvement (I say that full well knowing it will not to a damn thing to actually rear wheel HP on a N/A truck).
